During last month’s KPN Partner Network Event, ‘Release’, we had the opportunity to introduce a significant upgrade for several important applications. The response was overwhelmingly positive, and we are excited to provide you with more information about these new developments!
As everyone knows, KPN is one of the largest telecom providers in our country, serving both individuals and businesses. However, many may not realize that KPN does not directly serve SMEs; instead they relying on their many partners to provide services to this market segment. To make it as easy as possible for these partners to properly support their end customers, KPN has developed the KPN Partner Network, a channel specifically designed for SME-focused partners. Our client in this case is the KPN Partner Network itself.
The KPN Partner Network serves approximately 1,800 partners, largely Managed Service Providers (MSP), who together provide 100,000 SMEs with KPN services. These 1,800 partners utilize their various tools for tasks such as purchasing, order management, creating quotes, and invoicing, some of whichare developed on the Grexx Platform.
In 2017, Grexx built a series of applications that allowed KPN’s partners to operate under their own company branding. These services include order management, a variety of APIs for connecting to KPN systems, and tools for generating and verifying invoices and quotes.
New release: Offerteboxx
Since then, we have been regularly updating the 2017 series of applications with new features and, in the last few months due to changes in the telecom landscape, we have been working on a completely new version of the quotation application, which now boasts a myriad of new functionalities and improved user-friendliness. With these significant upgrades, we are excited to announce the release of our latest application, Offerteboxx, which we proudly presented last month at the KPN Partner Network event.
The new Offerteboxx application has received a great response. Gerhard ten Hove, partner manager of RoutIT, said of the initial reactions, "I've been hearing a lot of excitement from our partners about the potential time-saving capabilities of this new application. We're currently conducting tests with a dozen partners and they are all impressed. The main advantage of the application is the convenience and ease of use it offers. And our partners are using it in a variety of different ways. For some, it simply serves as a quotation tool, while for others it is a crucial lifeline within their company, with numerous integrations to their own systems like CRM or ERP. The new application will further streamline these processes. Furthermore, this version is user-friendly for partners who may not have all the internal knowledge and resources.”
Long-term collaboration
Offerteboxx is now being used by a small group of partners to test and tweak any issues, and will then be rolled out to all users who use the current quotation application. Of the 1,800 partners within the KPN Partner Network, the majority will make use of the application. At Grexx, we look forward to further developing the application and supporting the partners and end customers within the network.
